Container throughput at Hong Kong Port fell 11.7% year on year to 1.70 million TEUs in April compared to 1.93 million TEUs registered in the corresponding month in 2014, according to the Hong Kong Marine Department. This represents a decline for the tenth straight month in a row.
In the first four months of the year, its accumulated box traffic shrunk 8.9% from the same period last year to 6.596 million TEUs.
