Announcement on Seminar on Vienna Convention (CISG)
The International Committee will hold a seminar in Tokyo on Thursday, Sept. 3 regarding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), which is sometimes referred to as the Vienna Convention.
The convention, which had been developed by the [HYPERLINK] United Nations Commission on International Trade Law ([HYPERLINK] UNCITRAL), took effect in Japan on Aug. 1, making it the 71st signatory nation.
During the seminar, clear and detailed briefings will be given from forwarders' point of view on how the Vienna Convention is related to international commercial terms (Incoterms).
