Busan Port Achieves Benchmark of 15 Million TEUs
The South Korean port of Busan, the nation's largest port, handled 15 millionth container on Monday for the first time in the port's history, according to South Korea's Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs （MLTM）, following Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
If the current upward trend continues, the total amount of container throughput at Busan will reach 16.2 million TEUs.
