Transport Workers Strike Likely to End

The South Africa Transport and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) accepted a third offer from its counterpart Transnet, South Africa's largest transport group, on Wednesday, ending a two-and-a-half weeks long walkout which had crippled the nation's economy. The terms of the agreement have not disclosed. SATAU union workers are expected to return to work on Friday.
