Vietnam's Ministry of Transport (MOT) is set to require foreign container carriers to make public their charges, surcharges of freight services for containerized goods as well as port service charges effective July 1, 2017 under the Decree No. 146/2016/ND-CP issued on November 2 in 2017. The decree targets containerized shipments for transport by sea and mandates the publication of these charges after months of consideration.
