Vietnam Railways (VNR) has launched operation of its first 40-foot reefer container train between Yen Vien Station in Hanoi and Song Than Station in Binh Duong Province.
The train dedicated for reefer containers is 325-meter long and capable of carrying up to 800 tons of cargo and runs at a maximum speed of 70km/ph, completing the one-way journey in 58 hours.
It leaves Yen Vien every Tuesday southbound and on the return leg, departs Song Than every Friday.
