Shanghai International Port (Group) has said it has handled 2.963 million TEUs, up 3.0% compared to 2.875 million TEUs for the same month in 2013.
For the first three months, the world's busiest container port processed 8.266 million TEUs, up 4.67% compared to 7.802 TEUs in the same period last year.
The figure represents a positive growth for the eight consecutive years since 2007 but its growth rate has been waning.
